Coronavirus cases in India: Daily cases fell from a high of nearly 100,000 in mid-September.

India has recorded 66,732 fresh coronavirus cases, which topped the 71.2 lakh mark, data from the Ministry of Health showed this morning. With 816 deaths in the last 24 hours, the total number of deaths has risen to 1,09150.
For the fourth day in a row, active cases of COVID-19 remained below 9 lakh.
The country’s 24-hour digits have fallen to an average of 72,000 to 74,000 from the previous 90,000 digits.
