New Delhi:
India today reported 47,638 new cases of COVID-19, 5% fewer than yesterday. The total number of cases in the country thus reached 84.11 lakh, with 1,24,985 deaths. However, the total number of active cases dropped from 7,189 to just over 5.2 lakhs. Overall recoveries amounted to 77.66 lakhs, up 54,157 since yesterday.
