India added 14,933 new cases of COVID-19, bringing the number of infections to 4,40,215 while the number of deaths increased to 14,011 with 312 new deaths in the past 24 hours, according to Union Department of Health data this morning.
Delhi emerged on Monday as the second state most affected by the number of COVID-19 cases in addition to the number of deaths, although Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal said the situation in the national capital was gradually stabilizing while Goa reported his first death from the disease.
