3 BJP workers killed in terrorist attack in Kulgam, Jammu and Kashmir

Three BJP workers, including a youth leader, were killed in a terrorist attack Thursday in the Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir, police said. They were traveling by car when the terrorists shot at them in the YK Pora area.

“Today at around 8:20 pm, Kulgam police received information about a terrorist crime incident in the village of YK Pora, where terrorists had shot three BJP employees.

They were transferred to a nearby hospital for treatment, where they were pronounced dead.

“A preliminary investigation revealed that terrorists shot at three BJP workers, identified as Fida Hussain Yatoo, son of Ghulam Ahmad Yatoo, resident of YK Pora (BJP district youth secretary general), Umer Rashid Beigh, son of Abdul Rasheed Beigh, resident of Sophat Devsar (BJP worker) and Umer Ramzan Hajam, son of Mohd Ramzan, resident of YK Pora (BJP worker), ”the police added.
