Geneva:

The World Health Organization said on Wednesday that clinical trials of the drug hydroxychloroquine would resume, having been suspended pending a review of the safety of treatments for coronaviruses.

“Based on the available mortality data … the steering group will contact the main investigators of the trial regarding the resumption of the hydroxychloroquine arm,” said WHO chief Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus during a virtual press point.
