Moradabad:
A woman was allegedly shot dead by another woman in Moradabad, Uttar Pradesh, on Monday for allegedly having an affair with her husband, police said.
The alleged attacker, identified as Shabana, was arrested. The victim was rushed to hospital, where he died of injuries, police said.
“We arrested the woman who assaulted the victim. Shabana’s husband had lived with the victim for a long time, which she could not tolerate,” said Amit Pathak, SSP Moradabad.
A further investigation is underway.
