Jaipur:

Hooking on the NDA government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on its foreign policy, Rajasthan’s chief minister Ashok Gehlot asked on Friday why bilateral relations with neighboring countries had dropped after Modi came to power in 2014.

He said there is still no clarity on the situation on the Indo-Chinese border in Ladakh where there was a violent confrontation in which 20 Indian soldiers lost their lives.

Gehlot also asked Prime Minister Modi to clarify the situation before the nation.

“What is the reason for the deterioration of relations with our neighboring countries after the coming to power of the NDA government. When Narendra Modi became Prime Minister, the heads of neighboring nations were invited. They had come. Now what is the reason why all the neighboring countries turned against us, “said Gehlot, while naming Pakistan, Nepal, Sri Lanka and China.

He said it is still a mystery what has happened with China.

“The Prime Minister should have taken the compatriots into confidence but it is regrettable that the facts which were presented before the country were welcomed in China,” he said in a video message which he posted on Twitter with the hashtag #SpeakUpForOurJawans.

Gehlot said 20 soldiers have been killed and the Prime Minister should clarify the situation outside the country.

“There is no response from the government. There is resentment against China in India. If it is not today, the Prime Minister will have to tell the truth tomorrow. The cover-up will not work. What does hide the government? ” he asked.

He said that it is the result of the work of governments after the 1962 war between India and China that India is no less than a superpower.

Gehlot alleged that attempts were being made to create controversy for the Congress party via social media.
