Purnia:
Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad on Monday targeted RJD leader Tejashwi Yadav over the promise of a “new Bihar” and photographs of his parents Lalu Prasad and Rabri Devi “missing” from election posters and demanded why he was “so ashamed” of the photos of the party leaders who are both former chief ministers of state.
Mr Prasad, who spoke at a rally in Purnia, said Tejashwi Yadav’s parents ruled Bihar for 15 years as chief ministers.
“Someone says we are going to make a new Bihar. But in his poster of” New Bihar “, a photo of his parents, who ruled the state for 7.5 years each, is missing. Why are you so ashamed of your parents’ photo? ”he asked.
“This is because if their photos come in, people will definitely ask about the kidnappings that took place in the Bhatta Bazar neighborhood in Purnia. People will remember how they started to leave this place,” a- he added.
Mr Prasad and BJP President JP Nadda campaigned on Monday for the NDA candidate from Purnia constituency.
The two top BJP leaders again raised the issue of “anarchy” saying it was associated with the reign of Lalu Yadav and Rabri Devi.
“It’s up to you (the people of Purnia) to decide who do you want to bring to power,” Prasad said, adding that the NDA will bring a trade boom here while the “kidnappings” would come back if voters don’t. electoral choice right.
Voters in Purnia will seal the fate of candidates in the final phase of Bihar Assembly elections on November 7 in the third and final phase of the ballot. The BJP has won the seat since 2000.
