Aamir Khan, who co-starred with Fatima Sana Shaikh in Dangal and Thugs Of Hindostan, came out of his house to watch his new movie Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari in a movie theater on Tuesday. The actor, on his way to the movie theater, tweeted: “On the way to see Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari in a movie theater. I can’t wait to experience it on the big screen after so long! ” Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, starring Manoj Bajpayee, Diljit Dosanjh and Fatima Sana Shaikh in the lead roles, released in theaters November 15. It is the first Bollywood film to have a theatrical release after the COVID-19 lockdown.

Aamir Khan first worked with Fatima Sana Shaikh in the 2016 blockbuster Dangal. She played the role of wrestler Geeta Phogat in the film. Two years later, their film Thugs Of Hindostan released in theaters. The film failed to charm moviegoers.
Talk about Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari, it was directed by Abhishek Sharma and produced by Zee Studios.
In his review for GalacticGaming, film critic Saibal Chatterjee gave the film 2.5 out of 5 stars and wrote: “Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari is too focused on the clash of cultures and temperaments – Suraj is happy to be able to read a comic in two hours while the ambitious Tulsi Rane is passionate about Marathi theater – to notice that it doesn’t say anything of real importance. Too bad. Suraj Pe Mangal Bhari would have been a much bigger deal if its intention had been translated into action in a more meaningful and measured way. “
