When Amitabh Bachchan started the Gulabo Sitabo twister language challenge, he really, really marked Kartik Aaryan with tastes of Big B co-star Ayushmann Khurrana, Deepika Padukone, Virat Kohli, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt and Bhumi Pednekar. The day of Gulabo SitaboRelease, Kartik attempted the challenge, but was hilariously interrupted by his mother, who refused to believe that a megastar like Mr. Bachchan can assign a task to Kartik. Directed by Shoojit Sircar, Gulabo Sitabo plays Ayushmann as Baankey, alias Sitabo – a shrewd young tenant, less affluent and rash, still at odds with the character of Big B, Mirza, the incumbent Sitabo, who is an elderly and grumpy landlord.
Kartik Aaryan was last seen at Imtiaz Ali’s Love Aaj Kal. He is looking forward to an impressive program of films with Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2 and Dostana 2 on the list.
