The famous filmmaker founded the production house Dharma Productions in 1979 and Dostana was the banner’s first production, released on October 8, 1980. After Yash Johar’s death in 2004, Karan Johar took over Dharma Productions. “Dharma is the result of so many of us striving every day to spread joy in the movies … we miss you … but we feel your hand on our head and it gives us courage. to fight and create … I love you so much Daddy, ”Karan Johar added in his note.
