New Delhi:
Comedian Vir Das, in a tweet on Wednesday, revealed that there had been a deluge of abuse on his social network and asked his followers to avoid reading comments on his posts. “I just want to let everyone know that you might want to avoid reading the answers on my page for about four or five days. That’s it. Like some Indian comics right now, my comments section is a monsoon of abusive language. Avoidable, “tweeted Vir Das. However, he clarified that he would continue to publish content but avoiding going through comments is his way of dealing with trolls: “It doesn’t mean that I will stop publishing content, or be intimidated in any way. whatever, form. But I just don’t read them. And if I don’t read them, and you don’t read them, anger doesn’t get the attention it needs. “
“So enjoy the content, avoid the comments. Plus, there was a wave of love and support. I want to thank you. It’s not bad, you should read some of my reviews. More content soon. Peace, “Vir Das signed his tweet.
