Uttar Pradesh Deputy Chief Minister Keshav Prasad Maurya said on Saturday that the proposed film city of Noida would be larger than that of Mumbai.
He was speaking at the inauguration of the Film Development Council office with President Raju Srivastava.
“The proposed film city of Noida will provide employment opportunities for artists in the state. The Film Development Board will give Uttar Pradesh a larger film city than Mumbai,” Maurya said.
UP Justice Minister Brijesh Pathak said artists working in the state would benefit.
Raju Srivastava said the state government effort will attract filmmakers to the state and provide them with all possible facilities, according to a statement released by the UP government.
