New Delhi:
Congress Secretary General Priyanka Gandhi Vadra said on Monday that the recruiting mechanism in Uttar Pradesh was “very corrupt” and that the youth of the state were determined to oppose him and ensure changes in the system.
“The Uttar Pradesh recruiting mechanism is very corrupt. Recruitments are abandoned or blocked in legal battles due to corruption, unfair rules, a defective social justice policy and the recruiting mafia”, she said in a tweet in Hindi.
“Now the youth of the state are determined to speak up. They will ensure changes in the recruitment system,” she said.
Vadra previously spoke out against the Uttar Pradesh government about alleged fraud at the Ministry of Education, saying that those who spoke of “zero tolerance” against corruption tolerated the “big fish” transplant.
His attacks on the government came after a report that following the emergence of a teacher case on behalf of an Anamika Shukla, another such case emerged in the districts of Jaunpur and D ‘Azamgarh, where two jobs were guaranteed on behalf of Preeti Yadav, while the real Preeti Yadav is unemployed.
She had previously tweeted about another reported fraud case in which a job was fraudulently obtained on behalf of Deepti Singh in Mainpuri.
Targeting the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh for the alleged “scam” involving the recruitment of 69,000 teachers, the Secretary General of Congress in charge of UP affairs demanded that the chief minister of Uttar Pradesh, Yogi Adityanath, take responsibility for it and take “bold action”. with transparency to ensure that justice is done.
Congress has raised the issue strongly after the Allahabad High Court last week suspended the appointment of 69,000 assistant core teachers in the state.
