UP government has asked officials to prepare a plan to ensure that each district in the state has a test laboratory

Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath instructed officials to prepare a plan for setting up COVID-19 test laboratories in all districts of the state.

On Thursday evening, the chief minister gave instructions at a meeting with nodal officers from 11 districts affected by coronaviruses, including Ghaziabad and Gautam Buddha Nagar, a statement was announced today.

The chief minister asked officials for a detailed work plan for setting up laboratories in all districts of the state, the statement said.

Yogi Adityanath held a videoconference with nodal officers from 11 districts including Meerut, Agra, Firozabad, Kanpur Nagar, Aligarh, Moradabad, Bulandshahar, Jhansi and Basti in addition to Gautam Buddha Nagar and Ghaziabad and reported on the situation there, according to the press release.

He had appointed the nodal officers to assess in detail the situation in each of the districts.
