In order to provide a safe city for women in the state, the government of Uttar Pradesh is setting up a “ data analysis center ” under the 1090 power line for women, said Wednesday Awanish Kumar Awasthi, Additional Chief Home Secretary, Awanish Kumar Awasthi.

“In order to strengthen security measures for women in a safe city, the government is building a data analysis center under the 1090 power line for women. The government has ordered to implement it as soon as possible, ”Mr. Awasthi said.

Disclosing further, Mr Awasthi said that with the help of this data analysis center, hot spots where crimes against women take place will be reported and police will be deployed there.

“Data on crimes against women will be collected from various sources in this analytical center and action will be taken accordingly. The hot spot from the previous day will be marked according to the police deployment,” he said. .

The move apparently comes after the Hathras incident where a 19-year-old girl was allegedly gang raped.

The woman died of brutal assault injuries at Safdarjung Hospital in Delhi last month. According to the autopsy report, the victim suffered a fracture of the “cervical vertebra”.
