A video by Union Minister Arjun Ram Meghwal has gone viral in which he claims that a brand of papad has the ability to develop antibodies against the coronavirus in the body.

“A manufacturer has released a brand with the name of Bhabhi Ji papad whereby the means needed to develop antibodies to fight the coronavirus will go into the body through food and will be useful in the fight against the coronavirus,” Mr. Meghwal, approve the mark.
The minister sought to promote the government’s “voice for the local” campaign in his tweets.
“Bikaner’s papads, bhujia and rasgullas are popular. In support of VocalForLocal, I urge you to support it and local produce in your area so the campaign can move forward,” he said in a tweet.
