Meeting with Shopian: Police say two terrorists were killed

Two terrorists were killed by security forces during a meeting in Jammu and Kashmir, in the Shopian district, police said today.
The operation continues, they said.
Soldiers from the Central Reserve Police Force, Rashtriya Rifles and the Special Operations Group were on joint patrol when they came under fire, police said. They retaliated, killing the two terrorists.
The cordon and search operation was launched in Shopian this morning after obtaining information about the presence of terrorists in the region, said a police officer.
This is the third meeting at Shopian in four days. On Sunday and Monday, nine terrorists from the Hezbul Mujahideen were killed by the security forces.
