Union Home Secretary Amit Shah said on Thursday that residents of Bihar, Gujarat and other states where elections were held recently have rejected leaders who find fault with nothing .
People have made it known that they are supporting Prime Minister Narendra Modi, he said.
“Some leaders and political parties are ‘Vakradrashta’ because they have a hostile view of everything. They are used to criticizing anything that is good for people,” said the top BJP leader.
He was speaking at “Simant Kshetra Vikasotsav 2020” in Dhordo in the Kutch district of Gujarat as part of a border zone development program.
“These leaders talk too much, because they apparently believe their lies will be accepted as the truth if they keep repeating it,” Shah said.
“But people are now more aware, as the benefits of government programs have reached villages and their inhabitants. The programs are no longer (only) registered or in secretariats,” added the Union Minister.
“Some people have raised questions about the country’s preparedness for the coronavirus, the repeal of Section 370 and the construction of the Temple of Ram. Some people have tried to create an atmosphere of turmoil by trying to find negativity in everything, ”he said.
Criticizing parties and leaders have faced “total laundering in recent elections in Bihar, Gujarat, MPs, UP, Karnataka, Leh-Ladakh, Telangana and Manipur as people chose the BJP, ”Mr. Shah said.
“135 million people have given a message to these leaders, parties and to the whole world that they strongly support PMModi and support it every step of the way. This mandate has established that people are with PM Modi,” he said. .
