Southern actor MammoottyThe recent post on Instagram revealed that he had taken over one of his “old hobbies”. In an Instagram article on Tuesday, the 68-year-old actor shared a photo of him with his camera and attached an album of some of his favorite clicks from his collection of bird photographs. Mammootty, who can be seen seated at what appears to be a balcony that opens onto a garden, clicked on the photos of the “morning guests”, whom he spotted in his garden. Mammootty wrote about photography as an old hobby in hashtags, adding them to his message: “#myphotography” and “#oldhobbies”. Mammootty is also “stay home, stay safe”, as he added in his legend.
Mammootty’s Instagram is filled with previews of her upcoming projects. He rarely shares excerpts from his personal life and, therefore, it is not surprising that his article on bird photography was inundated with fan comments. Mammootty’s post garnered over 13,490 comments in more than a day.

During the national lockout, Mammootty featured in a short film called Family, directed by Prasoon Pandey. The film’s overall cast also included names such as Amitabh Bachchan, Rajinikanth, Mohanlal and Chiranjeevi, Ranbir Kapoor, Alia Bhatt, Priyanka Chopra, Diljit Dosanjh, Sonali Kulkarni, Shiv Raj Kumar and Prosenjit Chatterjee. None of the actors left their homes and submitted their portions to the director respectively.
Mammootty, a Malayalam superstar, is also known for his work in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi films. His son Dulquer Salmaan, also an actor, made his Bollywood debut with the 2018 film Karwaan and also starred in The Zoya factor, released last year.
