Tonight’s episode of Amitabh Bachchan’s quiz Kaun Banega Crorepati 12 was memorable for candidate Chhavi Kumar. She took home Rs 50.00,000 on the show, becoming the first contestant this season to achieve the highest level of prize money. Chhavi Kumar has exhausted all his lifelines for answering questions up to Rs 50,00,000 in yesterday’s episode and when Big B asked him this question for Rs 1 crore – After which Greek goddess did the US space program name the first woman and the next man on the moon by 2024? – in tonight’s episode, she couldn’t choose the correct answer and decided to quit the show. Super impressed with Chhavi Kumar’s performance on the show, Amitabh Bachchan also announced that the show’s creators decided to give her daughter Vedantu’s Rs 5 lakh scholarship for her studies.
Maulik Vyas of Gujarat was the next contender to win the first lap with the fastest finger. He played the game up to Rs 1,60,000 on tonight’s episode. The third competitor to reach the hot seat was Shivani Sankpal from Pune, Maharashtra. She is a design engineer.
