Maheep Kapoor shared some explosions from the past on Wednesday and sent Instagram in crisis. Maheep, who married Sanjay Kapoor in 1997, was once a budding model and actress and was ready for her Bollywood debut that year. Maheep was supposed to enter Bollywood with a film called Shivam opposite Panini Raajkumar, who is the son of the late actor Raaj Kumar. however, Shivam was shelved after being announced and could not make it to the movies. Maheep took a trip to the past on Wednesday and decided to share a few previews of her photo shoot with Shivam days. “When I had aspirations as a leading woman and fortunately for Indian cinema, it was nipped in the bud,” she wrote in legend of her album.
Referring to her retro style in the photos, Maheep added: “The only silver lining is my Lycra memory! Today my body has forgotten what this material looks like! #MajorThrowBack #Shivam.”
Maheep Kapoor’s message was inundated with comments from family and famous friends. Maheep, Sonam and Janhvi Kapoor’s nieces were impressed by the flashbacks. Sonam made this request: “Please post the clip” while Janhvi added: “OMG, kill him.” Maheep’s husband, Sanjay Kapoor, reacted with the ROFL emoji. Ananya Panday and Suhana Khan, who are best friends with Maheep and Sanjay Shanaya’s daughter, reacted to the photos with “OMG” and “wow” comments.
