An American boy who risked his own life to save his sister celebrates rakhi.
He was hailed as a hero when he risked his own life while saving his little sister from a dog attack. Now 6-year-old Bridger Walker is winning the internet again with an adorable photo with her sister. The little boy’s aunt shared a post on Instagram, showing Bridger and her sister celebrating the festival. Rakshabandhan.

Bridger Walker, who lives in the western state of Wyoming, got between a German Shepherd mix and her little sister on July 9 as the dog was about to attack the four year old girl. In the process of saving his sister, he was badly bitten on the cheek and underwent emergency surgery in which he had 90 stitches in his face.
“If anyone was to die, I thought it had to be me,” the little boy’s parents said after telling them.

I love this feeling of brothers and sisters who care for each other and find it very fitting that we can celebrate Raksha Bandhan today. Nicole also explained what drove them to cross the boundaries of culture and celebrate the day to celebrate the bond between siblings.

After the boy’s story went viral on social media, several reel life superheroes lined up to praise the six-year-old’s courage.
Among them was Chris Hemsworth, the actor who played Thor in superhero films, who hailed Bridger as “an absolute inspiration.”
