Rhea Chakraborty’s lawyer said Sushant Rajput’s family looked very vindictive towards Rhea.

New Delhi:

Rhea Chakraborty has been the subject of a hate campaign for being the girlfriend of Sushant Singh Rajput, but “the Bengal tigress will fight,” her lawyer told GalacticGaming today, hours after the 28-year-old has obtained bail from the Bombay High Court.

“She will fight all these idiots. The shameless people who destroyed her image are lining up outside my office for my interview,” Satish Manshinde said, referring to a section of the media that has been monitored for its unlimited coverage of the death. of the actor and its consequences.

Rhea Chakraborty was released from Byculla Prison in Bombay today after being there for almost a month. The Narcotics Control Bureau, which arrested her on September 9 as part of its investigation into the drug angle in the case, accused her of being “an active member of a drug union. “.

In the bail order, the High Court flatly contradicted the agency’s claims, saying it was not part of a chain of drug traffickers.

Noting that the charges did not mention the involvement of drugs in commercial quantities, the court declared that spending the money to buy drugs for Sushant Singh Rajput “did not mean that she had financed the illicit traffic”.

“Just providing money for a particular transaction or other transactions will not fund that activity,” the court said.

“The judge ruled that the amount (of drugs involved) was much less. It was not equivalent to the amount that can be traded,” Manshinde said. “I am grateful to the High Court that the judge went through all of the material handed to him,” he added.

Asked about the defamation of Rhea Chakraborty, Mr Manshinde said the “corrupt journalists” were simply looking for TRP because no story was coming during the coronavirus pandemic.

“The Bombay High Court is reviewing the role of the media trial. The Supreme Court is also reviewing the role of the media trial in this case,” he said. “A channel was discussing my expenses, my cars and my office. I saw an attack on social media. How do they (presenters) care about my fees? ” he added.

The twists and turns in the case began days after Sushant Rajput’s death on June 14, as social media exploded with allegations of nepotism and cliques in Bollywood, making it difficult for foreigners to find a foothold and to develop oneself.

As Mumbai Police, who declared his death a suicide, focused on investigating allegations of nepotism, Sushant Rajput’s family accused Rhea Chakraborty of drugging him, exploiting him for money and having played a role in his death.

Their claims only dragged the case into the political arena, they also opened the floodgates of allegations and taunts for Rhea Chakraborty.

“Sushant Rajput’s family seem very vindictive towards Rhea,” Manshinde said today.

Rhea Chakraborty, he added, was stalked “because she was Sushant Singh Rajput’s girlfriend, she was the mate. She almost looked like the housewife.”

Currently, three central agencies – the Central Bureau of Investigation, the Department of Law Enforcement and the Narcotics Control Bureau – are investigating different angles of the case.
