Tesla Inc chief executive Elon Musk said on Thursday that he had taken four coronavirus tests on the same day, two of which showed positive results, while the other two were negative.
“Something extremely wrong is happening. Has been tested for covid four times today. Two tests came back negative, two came back positive. Same machine, same test, same nurse. Rapid antigen test BD, “Musk said in a tweet, possibly referring to the Becton Dickinson and Co. rapid antigen test.

Tesla’s CEO said he was also undergoing polymerase chain reaction (PCR) tests in separate labs with results taking around 24 hours.
Asked by a Twitter user if he was showing any symptoms, Musk said he was showing symptoms of a “typical cold.”
“Nothing unusual so far,” Musk added.
Becton Dickinson said in September he was investigating reports from U.S. nursing homes that his rapid coronavirus testing equipment was producing false positive results.
Becton Dickinson did not respond to a request for comment Thursday night.
