Police to question family of former Sushant Singh Rajput manager Disha Salian (File)

Bombay:

None of the SIM cards used by actor Sushant Singh Rajput have been registered under his name, the Bihar police team said on Sunday, investigating his death case.

The team also informed that one of the SIM cards used by the late actor was named after his friend Siddharth Pithani.

“We are now tracking detailed call recordings (CDRs),” police said.

The team also said they would interview the family of Sushant Singh Rajput’s former manager Disha Salian, who died days before Sushant’s death.

“Even after constant attempts to communicate with them by phone, we were unable to establish any contact,” he said.

Earlier today, in speaking with ANI, Bihar Gupteshwar Police Director General (DGP) Pandey alluded to the Mumbai Police’s non-cooperation with his team in their investigation.

“We do not have the details of the post-mortem report, CCTV footage or any information that has been gathered by Mumbai police during the investigation so far. Our chief minister asked the chief minister of Maharashtra to ask its police force to cooperate with us, ”the DGP added.

When asked if the Bihar Police wanted to investigate the CBI case, he said: “We are more than capable of conducting an impartial investigation. We hope the Mumbai Police will cooperate with us and we will conclude the investigation.”

Rajput was found dead at his residence in Mumbai on June 14. Mumbai Police investigating the case previously reported that they recorded statements from 41 people, including filmmaker Mahesh Bhatt, film critic Rajeev Masand, director-producer Sanjay Leela Bhansali, and filmmaker Aditya Chopra so far. .

A Bihar police team is in Mumbai to investigate the actor’s death after an FIR was filed by Rajput’s father, KK Singh, against the girlfriend of late actor Rhea Chakraborty in Bihar in relation to the death case under several sections, including the promotion of suicide.

The Law Enforcement Directorate (DE) had also registered an Enforcement Case Information Report (ECIR) in the case of Rajput’s death. ED saved the report after an FIR was filed by his father against Chakraborty.
