Bollywood actor Sushant Singh Rajput’s friend and gym partner Sunil Shukla approached the Bombay High Court on Thursday, seeking a CBI investigation into the late actor Disha Salian’s former manager. in “suspicious circumstances”.
Disha Salian, 28, died on June 8 after falling from the 14th floor of a residential building on the outskirts of Malad.
Six days later, on June 14, a 34-year-old actor was found dead at his home in Bandra.
In the petition, Mr. Shukla claimed that Ms. Salian and Mr. Rajput had died under “suspicious circumstances” and that the Mumbai police failed to take several aspects into account when investigating his death.
“The petitioner (Shukla) has documentary evidence proving that Disha Salian and Sushant Singh Rajput were in contact from March to April 2020,” the petition states.
He added that the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) was already investigating Mr. Rajput’s death and even Disha Salian’s death case should be turned over to the central investigative agency.
