Sushant Singh Rajput’s father, KK Singh, said on Wednesday that he was the legal heir to the late actor and that he, along with his daughters, made up his family. In a statement, Mr. Singh also said that Mr. Rajput’s engagements with his lawyer, chartered accountant and other professionals ended with his death in June and that no one can represent the actor’s property without his consent.
“It is also clarified that only my daughters and I make up Sushant’s family and we have authorized Varun Singh (SKV Law Offices, Commercial) as our lawyer and, through him, Vikas Singh, Sr. Advocate, to represent the family. the person claiming to be a family member does not have my consent, ”the statement added.
Sushant Singh Rajput, a popular Bollywood actor with many successful films to his name, has been found dead in his apartment in Mumbai. Local police said he committed suicide.
However, weeks after a complaint was filed by his father against his girlfriend Rhea Chakraborty, alleging financial cheating and harassment – which was then referred to the CBI by the government of Bihar – the Supreme Court charged the agency investigation to investigate the circumstances leading to his death. .
“Sushant Singh Rajput was a talented actor in the Bombay film world and died long before his full potential could be realized. His family, friends and admirers are anxiously awaiting the outcome of the investigation,” said the tribunal.
Mumbai police, who had filed an accidental death case and recorded the statements of more than 50 people, have been urged to cooperate with the CBI and hand over the evidence gathered during their investigation.
