Sushant Singh Rajput was a very balanced person and he couldn’t have a suicidal tendency, his former girlfriend and co-star Ankita Lokhande told GalacticGaming in an interview. The actor was staying happy and would compartmentalize his life into five-year goals, she said. Mr. Rajput was found dead in his Mumbai apartment in June; police said he committed suicide.
Ms Lokhande and the actor starred in a popular TV soap opera “Pavitra Rishta” and dated for years before going their separate ways in 2016.
“Sushant did not have a suicidal personality. When he was with me he was happy, he kept me happy. He was a very balanced person,” Ms. Lokhande said.
Sushant has always been wanted in life, she recalled.
“He used to plan his life around his five year goals. He used to write down his dreams. And after five years he would still get what he wanted,” she said. added.
Ms Lokhande said it was difficult for her to believe he had died by suicide as she knew the actor well.
“I was with him for seven years so I know what his dreams were, how passionate he could be. So, it’s very hard for me to believe (that he died by suicide),” he said. she adds.
Mumbai Police investigated whether Mr Rajput suffered from depression and was pushed overboard after being sidelined in the film industry due to nepotism and cliques. Rhea Chakraborty, who would go out with him, was among around 40 people questioned by police.
Earlier this month, Sushant’s father filed an FIR in Bihar against Ms Chakraborty for allegedly transferring money from her account and mentally harassing him.
Ms Chakraborty then moved the Supreme Court, urging that the complaint be transferred to Mumbai from Patna.
“I have immense faith in God and in justice. I believe that I will obtain justice. Even though a lot of horrible things are said about me on electronic media, I refrain from commenting on the advice of my lawyers in the current state of affairs. sub judice, ”she said in a video posted Friday by her lawyer.
The Directorate of Enforcement, which investigates financial crimes, also intervened. The agency filed a money laundering case on Friday for what it called “suspicious transactions” worth Rs 15 crore.
