By popular demand, producer Ekta Kapoor shared the very first scene actor Sushant Singh Rajput shot for his first TV show – and it’s satisfyingly epic, in true cheesy blue TV style. Sushant, who died on June 14 at the age of 34, was chosen as the second soap leader of 2008 Kis Desh Mein Hain Meraa Dil. “We knew he was destined for bigger things and that’s exactly what he did,” Ekta Kapoor wrote in her post – Sushant was later cast for the lead role on the hit show. Pavitra Rishta after which he made his Bollywood debut in the 2013 film Kai Po Che!

Sushant Singh Rajput went on to graduate as a star in Pavitra Rishta opposite actress Ankita Lokhande – but it wasn’t easy.
