Actress Bipasha Basu believes “actors are the most vulnerable” as filming of television shows, movies and other entertainment projects resumes. The actress commented on a the paparazzo post about Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 actor Parth Samthaan positive test for coronavirus during the weekend. Bipasha said that although the members of the unit are equipped with personal protective equipment (PPE) kits and face shields while the actors must shoot without protective equipment. Bipasha Basu wrote: “All filming should stop until the situation does not improve. The actors are the most vulnerable … most of the unit is protected with all PPE, gloves, masks and shields. But the actors must shoot without any protection. It is quite simply risky. “

Bipasha Basu’s husband, actor Karan Singh Grover, played the role of Mr. Bajaj in Ekta Kapoor’s Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2. Karan Singh Grover left the series after resuming filming after the country closed due to the coronavirus epidemic in India. Actor Karan Patel took over and also filmed a few episodes of the series.

After Parth Samthaan tested COVID-19 positive, producer Ekta Kapoor issued a statement saying, “All the necessary precautions are taken, SOPs are followed. For us at Balaji Telefilms, health and safety comes first.”

New episodes of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, in which Karan Patel will be presented as Rishabh Bajaj, will be broadcast on Star Plus and Disney + Hotstar from Monday.
