Sonu Sood has helped several migrants with coronavirus lockdown (file)

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood has been named icon of the State of Punjab by the Election Commission.
The announcement was made on the Twitter account by the Chief Electoral Officer of Punjab. It read: “The real hero of the people is now the icon of the State of Punjab – Sonu Sood”
The “Happy New Year” actor has helped several migrants with the coronavirus lockdown by organizing food and shelter for the population.
Previously, Penguin Random House India announced that the “Dabangg” actor would write an autobiography that will recount his experiences during the pandemic. The book will be co-authored by Meena Iyer.
The autobiography will be entitled “I am not a messiah”.
“The people were very kind and lovingly called me Messiah. But I really believe I’m not a Messiah. I just do what my heart tells me. It is our responsibility as human beings to be compassionate and to help each other ”. Said Mr. Sood.
Written in first person, the book will reveal the emotional and often difficult journeys he took with the people he saved.
He will tell the many stories he has heard and interactions he had, and also share how this experience not only changed his vision but also the purpose of his life.
“I Am No Messiah” will be released in December of this year.
