The daughter of Loktantrik Janata Dal (LJD) leader Sharad Yadav, Subhashini Raj Rao, who is running as a candidate for the Bihariganj Congress, said on Saturday that people want change in Bihar and now a government of the poor will be formed .
She voted at a polling station in Madhepura during the third and final phase of the polls in Bihar.
“People want change. They supported me. I have the blessing of my father (Sharad Yadav). I worked after listening to their suggestions. People elect their representatives. Janta ki sarkar banegi, gareebo ki sarkaar banegi ab (Now the popular government will be formed and the government of the poor will be formed), ”Ms. Rao told ANI.
Voting began in 78 assembly constituencies in 16 districts in the third and final phase of elections in Bihar at 7 a.m. today.
The counting of the votes will take place on November 10.
Bihar recorded a turnout of 55.69% in the first phase and 53.51% in the second phase of voting for 243 members of the Assembly.
