Strong points
- Photo shows Shah Rukh Khan holding little Suhana in his arms
- Going back also includes writer Mushtaq Sheikh
- Paheli turned 15 years old on Wednesday
New Delhi:
The 2005 film by Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji Paheli completed 15 years on Wednesday and on occasion we came across a million dollar image of the stars of the film sets. The image is special for one more reason – it also shows the wife of Shah Rukh Khan, Gauri, who produced the film, and their daughter Suhana. Paheli, released June 24, 2005, is a Hindi remake of the 1973 Mani Kaul film Duvidha. In the film, which takes place in Rajasthan, Shah Rukh Khan played a double role, but more on this later. In the breath of the past, Shah Rukh Khan can be seen holding little Suhana in his arms with Gauri, Rani Mukerji and screenwriter Mushtaq Sheikh standing next to him posing for the camera. The actor and Rani Mukerji can be seen disguised as characters from the film.
Looked:
Paheli, directed by Amol Palekar and produced by Gauri Khan and Juhi Chawla, is the love story of a ghost named Prem (played by Shah Rukh Khan), who falls in love with a young woman named Lachchi (Rani Mukerji). After their marriage, when Lachchi Kishan’s husband (also played by Shah Rukh Khan) leaves the city on business, Prem takes his form and begins to live with Lachchi. For those who don’t know, Paheli was also India’s official entry to the Oscars in 2006.
Except Paheli, Shah Rukh Khan and Rani Mukerji have also worked together in several films such as Chalte Chalte, Veer-Zaara, Kuch Kuch Hota Hai Kal Ho Na Ho and many more.
