After a family member of Sushant Singh Rajput was notified, Shiv Sena MP Sanjay Raut said on Wednesday he was making statements in the actor’s death case based on the reports he had and added that he would look into it if he missed anything. .
“If there has been a mistake on our part, we will think about it. But I will have to look into it. What I have said so far is based on the information I have, Sushant’s family are talking about. on the basis of information they have, ”Mr. Raut told reporters.
He said a conspiracy had been created to defame the government of Maharashtra.
Earlier, Anish Jha, attorney for BJP MP Niraj Kumar Singh, a relative of the actor who died Wednesday, said on Wednesday that Mr Raut had had 48 hours to apologize for his recent statements regarding the death case of the actor Sushant Singh Rajput.
“His (Sushant) case is under investigation, but people don’t want the truth to come out. If, due to political pressure or for any other reason, he has made a controversial statement, he should apologize within 48 hours so that we don’t take any further action (against him). Everyone makes mistakes, that’s why we sent him a notice first, “he said.
Mr Jha’s remarks came after Mr Raut alleged that the relationship between the late actor and his father was strained and also accused the Director General of Bihar Police (DGP) of acting as the spokesperson party.
The Supreme Court asked the Center and the governments of Maharashtra and Bihar, respondents in the petition filed by Rhea Chakraborty in connection with the Sushant Singh Rajput death case, to file a written note of all previous judgments compiled before the court before August 13.
A single judge bench of Judge Hrishikesh Roy, while hearing Rhea’s plea seeking to transfer the investigation into the case registered against her in the Patna case in Mumbai, asked all parties to file a written memo of all those previous judgments by Thursday.
Former Additional Solicitor General Maninder Singh, appearing for the government of Bihar, argued that the chief minister of Bihar had not intervened in the case and added that the recommendation for a CBI investigation was based on the advice of the authorities concerned.
Previously, the Supreme Court ordered the governments of Central, Bihar and Maharashtra, the Mumbai police and Sushant Singh Rajput’s father to file their responses to actor Rhea Chakraborty’s plea in the matter.
