The Railway Protection Force, Pune, launched the “ CAPTAIN ARJUN ” on Friday, a robot to control passengers on trains, said Central Railways.

The Robotic Captain Arujn was launched online Friday evening. Captain Arjun has adopted a two-way voice and video communication system and also speaks in the local language. It is hosted by speakers to disseminate awareness messages on COVID19.
Captain Arjun also has a disinfectant and sensor mask dispenser and can move around. The robot has a soil disinfection installation with a good backup battery. It has sturdy wheels that support all kinds of surfaces.
