Punjab Chief Minister Amarinder Singh said on Thursday he was ready to lead the political struggle against the three “anti-farm” bills passed in parliament.

“Is giving up a place in the Union cabinet a sacrifice? The Badals obviously do not know the meaning of sacrifice,” he said.
He ridiculed the statement by SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal that his party can make any sacrifice for farmers.
“What are you still doing in the anti-farmer NDA government at the Center?” He asked leader Akali.
The Parliament adopted the Essential Products Bill (Amendment), 2020, the Agricultural Trade and Trade (Promotion and Facilitation) Bill, 2020 and the Farmers Agreement (Empowerment and Protection) on price insurance and agricultural services.
