Ashok Gehlot gave instructions to increase the testing capacity of COVID-19.

Jaipur:

Rajasthan’s chief minister Ashok Gehlot asked authorities on Saturday to expand the plasma therapy facilities for COVID-19 patients after obtaining authorization from the Indian Council for Medical Research (ICMR).

After encouraging the results of plasma therapy at the SMS hospital in Jaipur, it should also be extended to other hospitals, he told a COVID-19 review meeting in the state.

For this, Mr. Gehlot asked the officials to request the necessary authorization from the ICMR.

He also gave instructions to increase the testing capacity of COVID-19.

Health Minister Raghu Sharma, Chief Secretary Rajeeva Swarup, Senior Health Secretary Akhil Arora and other officials attended the meeting.
