In late March, Mr. Oli was admitted to the Tribhuwan University Hospital (TUTH) following an increase in heart rate.
Mr. Oli’s doctor, Dr. Dibya Singh, then confirmed that the Prime Minister was being kept under observation at the Manmohan Cardiovascular and Cardio-Thoracic Transplant Center, which is part of TUTH.
“There is an increased risk of COVID-19 infection, so we took him to the hospital as a precaution. His health is normal, there is nothing to worry about,” he said. -she adds.
Earlier in March of this year, the Prime Minister had a new kidney transplant that stopped working last year. Mr. Oli’s niece, Samikshya Sangraula, 32, had then donated his right kidney to the Prime Minister.
Last year, Mr. Oli also traveled to Singapore for plasmapheresis.
