Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated the disappearance of the Cabinet Minister of Rajasthan, Master Bhanwarlal Meghwal, and said he was a veteran leader with a passion for government service.
Rajasthan’s Minister of Social Justice and Empowerment, Master Bhanwar Lal Meghwal, died in a hospital in Gurgaon on Monday following a prolonged illness. He was 72 years old.
“Distraught by the disappearance of the Minister of Rajasthan, Master Bhanwarlal Meghwal Ji. He was a former leader passionate about the service in Rajasthan”, tweeted the office of the Prime Minister (PMO) quoting PM Modi.
“In this hour of sadness, my condolences to his family and his supporters,” Prime Minister Modi said.
The congressional government in Rajasthan on Tuesday declared a one-day state mourning after the minister’s disappearance.
Bhanwarlal Meghwal represented the Sujangarh assembly constituency of Churu district.
