Pooja Bhatt has revealed that she has taken the plunge in removing all the negativity on the platform. In her message, she said she received rape threats with haters telling her to “go die”. Pooja Bhatt wrote that if she was advised to turn off comments she didn’t want to as it would cut off all the love and positive responses she would get. Here’s how Pooja Bhatt started her post: “It has to be said. Instagram seems to have become a place where people anonymously and otherwise use their access to initiate abuse, threaten rape and trick you into ‘going to die’. this as I have always believed that only people who are suffering themselves want to hurt others and also that if you accept love you must also accept criticism. But does anyone wish you death, you and your family, constructive criticism or just vile cyberbullying? “
In her post, Pooja Bhatt added that those who wish to follow her should make a request and “eliminate abuse”: “I have been advised to turn off all comments, but by doing this you are blocking all positive, well-meaning , constructive comments too. Why should I push away people who give me good vibes for those who only vomit venom towards people in general? But what I have done now is make my account private. Want to access my world? Make a request. You want to converse with me, eliminate abuse. “
Addressing the haters, Pooja Bhatt wrote: “As for wishing me death, the same God and Universe that watches over you, watches over me too. I will pass when life decides for me. And as long as life makes me. breathe, I will. live optimally and revel in the present. We seem to have become a pathetic lot … spitting abuse, inciting violence, following agendas of fabricated hatred like sheep. We are always in the middle pandemic. People are dying in large numbers every day … from COVID, hunger, depression and unemployment. But these lost lives don’t seem to be about haters. Their hatred is what keeps them alive. is consuming instead. But yet I wish them luck. May they heal. May they suffer less. May they reclaim the humanity they were born with while choosing to set it aside.
For those who shower her with a constant dose of positivity on social media, Pooja Bhatt added, “As for those who take the time to fill my life with positivity no matter what, I send you lots of love and I offer you my deepest gratitude. Life is short. And those who choose kindness form the glue that keeps this fractured world from falling apart. Thank you. I love you all! Yes robots too! “Pooja Bhatt accompanied her long note from a poster with a quote attributed to author Steve Maraboli: “I don’t have the time, energy, or interest to hate haters; I’m too busy loving lovers.”
