Prime Minister Narendra Modi will address four back-to-back rallies in Bihar on Sunday to garner support from NDA candidates in the poll-linked state.

PM Modi will begin his electoral tour on Sunday with a rally in Chapra, the political stronghold of RJD supremo Lalu Prasad.

According to the itinerary, from Chapra he will travel to Samastipur to speak at a public meeting at the Housing Board Ground, then Gandhi Maidan in Motihari and end the campaign trip with a rally in Bagaha.

According to sources from Patna’s JD (U), Chief Minister Nitish Kumar will accompany Modi to the meetings in Samastipur and Bagaha.

The campaign for the second phase will end on Sunday evening.

Among others, Raghopur, the assembly constituency of the opposition Grand Alliance’s chief ministerial candidate, Tejashwi Yadav, and Hasanpur in Samastipur, where his older brother Tej Pratap Yadav is in the fray, will vote in the of the second phase on November 3.

Prime Minister Modi will address a rally on the ground at Chapra Airport, which was political “karmabhoomi“(workplace) of the jailed president of the RJD.

Mr. Prasad got involved in electoral politics by winning the seat of Chapra Lok Sabha in 1977 at the age of 29.

Former trade union minister and national spokesperson for BJP Rajiv Pratap Rudy is currently a member of parliament for Chapra.

After firing “Raj ke Yuvraj jungle“salute to Mr. Tejashwi, it would be interesting to see what new he says about the RJD.

In previous meetings, PM Modi also spoke about Ayodhya and Jammu and Kashmir.

In the Chapra poll, NDA candidates from 25 constituencies in Saran, Siwan and Gopalganj districts will be present on a separate platform erected near that of the PM.

The magistrate of the Saran Additional District said COVID protocols will be strictly followed during the prime minister’s rally.

A total of 25,000 chairs were kept in the floor at a safe distance from each other and no one would be allowed to enter the room without a face mask, ADM said.

East Champaran District Magistrate Shirsat Kapil and Police Superintendent Navin Chandra Jha held a meeting with senior district officials at the Prime Minister’s public meeting in Gandhi Maidan on Sunday.

Samastipur District Magistrate Shashan Subhankar said COVID-related restrictions would be strictly adhered to at the Prime Minister’s rally on Sunday.

The Bagaha gathering will take place at the grounds of Baba Bhoothnath College.

This will be PM Modi’s third election tour in Bihar.

He addressed rallies in Dehri, Gaya and Bhagalpur on October 23 and returned to the state on October 28 to attend election meetings in Darbhanga, Muzaffarpur and Patna.
