Sushant Singh Rajput’s Pavitra Rishta Co-star Karan Veer Mehra revealed in a memorial message that the actor had helped lift him from a low point, adding that he regretted not being able to do the same. Mr. Rajput, 34, was found dead on Sunday at his home; police say he died by suicide. Karan Veer Mehra described Sushant Singh Rajput as his best friend and, sharing a series of photos of the two in happier times, wrote: He was much younger to me, but treated me as the younger. Sushant Singh Rajput became famous with his portrayal of the character of Manav Deshmukh in the television series Pavitra Rishta. Karan Veer Mehra starred as Naren Karmarkar while Ankita Lokhande starred as Archana Deshmukh – Manav’s love interest. Mr. Rajput and Ms. Lokhande are also six years old.
Pavitra Rishta producer Ekta Kapoor, Sunday, shared a note of tribute to Sushant Singh Rajput on Instagram. She shared a screenshot of her Instagram swap with the actor a week ago and wrote, “Not fair, Sushi.”
Ankita Lokhande, who was unable to attend Monday’s funeral for Sushant Singh Rajput at Pawan Hans Crematorium, visited Mr. Rajput’s family at his Mumbai home on Tuesday.
