Jammu:
A Pakistani terrorist was killed Wednesday as the military thwarted an offer to infiltrate a group of terrorists along the Line of Control (LoC) in the Rajouri district of Jammu and Kashmir, said one army officer.
Troops intercepted the group when it entered 400 meters on this side of the other side of the LoC in the Keri area of Rajouri at around 0555 hours, triggering a shootout, said the officer.
He said that a terrorist had been killed and an AK 47 rifle and two magazines had been recovered.
The search for other group members was underway when the last reports arrived, the officer said, adding that more details are awaited.
