On Friday, the Delhi High Court extended the suspension of its operations and its subordinate courts.
Previously, the committee concerned had suspended the operation of the court until May 31.
“The Administrative and General Supervision Committee of this court, while considering a further extension of the suspended operation of this court and taking note of the present situation, has been ordered that the operation of the Delhi High Court will remain suspended until ‘on June 14, 2020,’ said a circular from the Delhi High Court on Friday.
“It has also been ordered that, according to the” previous instructions, all the benches address urgent questions by videoconference in accordance with the list notified on 20.05.2020 and the notes therein, “added the circular.
The same commission had already extended the suspension of the functioning of the courts and took note of the prevailing situation.
