On the 72nd birthday of veteran actress Hema Malini, her daughter Esha Deol shared a heartwarming birthday wish for her on social media. Esha is the daughter of Dream girl actress and Dharmendra. Post an adorable photo of herself and Hema Malini, she wrote: “Happy birthday, mom. God bless you. Stay happy and healthy. I love you my super wife, my tinkerbell … my step mom!” In the photo, the mother-daughter duo can be seen paired up in blue outfits. They look happy when they pose for the camera. Reacting to Esha Deol’s post, Abhishek Bachchan also wished the veteran actress and wrote: “Happy birthday, Hema Aunty.”

Other than Esha deol, Dharmendra and Hema Malini are also the parents of Ahana Deol, who is an Odissi dancer by training, just like her sister and mother. Before Hema Malini, Dharmendra married Parkash Kaur. They are the parents of actors Sunny and Bobby Deol and daughters Vijeeta and Ajeeta.
Esha Deol married businessman Bharat Takhtani in 2012. The couple have two young daughters – Miraya and Radhya.
On Janmashtami, Esha Deol posted a really cute blast from the past with herself and Hema Malini. “Now it’s me! Back then my mother dressed me as Baby Krishan on the occasion of Janmashtami and today as we celebrate this occasion I follow the same tradition with my children too! she wrote.
Esha Deol has featured in a number of films. She made her acting debut in 2003 with Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe and continued to work in films like Na Tum Jaano Na Hum, Dhoom, LOC Kargil, No entry, Kaal, just married and Tell me O Kkhuda.
Hema Malini, one of the best actresses of the 70s and 80s, is best known for her performances in films like Johnny Mera Naam, Kranti, Naseeb, Satte Pe Satta, Seeta Aur Geeta, Dream Girl, Sholay and Baghban, to name a few. She was last seen in a romantic comedy Shimla mirchi, with Rakul Preet Singh and Rajkummar Rao.
