Here’s what Sanjay Dutt posted about Gandhi Jayanti:
Lage Raho Munna Bhai is the second installment and so far the last of Rajkumar Hirani Munna bhaiseries of films. Sanjay Dutt reprized his role as a daring gift from Mumbai named Munna Bhai, who lost her heart to a radio jockey named Janhavi. Munna Bhai, in order to impress Janhavi on her radio show on Gandhi Jayanti, reads too much about Gandhi, which leads to hallucinations, which he believes to be true. Highlights of the film are Munna Bhai’s ROFL implementation of Gandhi’s non-violent ways in real life. Rajkumar Hirani, in several interviews, has said that the goal behind infusing the film with a strong Gandhi element was to rekindle interest in the famous figure, who changed the course of Indian history.
Meanwhile, Sanjay Dutt is back in Mumbai after briefly spending time with his family in Dubai. Last month, he was seen visiting Mumbai’s Kokilaben Hospital a few times, where he was supposed to seek treatment.
