Anuppur, Madhya Pradesh:
Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan said on Wednesday that state coffers are not Aurangzeb’s treasury that will be emptied if it is devoted to development.
“I am not Kamal Nath, who will not give a penny for development. I assure you of the development of Anuppur. Kamal Nath used to say that mom emptied the state coffers but I said that it is not Aurangzeb’s treasure that can be emptied, “he said at a rally in Anuppur district, Madhya Pradesh.
Speaking about the way Prime Minister Narendra Modi deals with neighboring countries, he criticized former prime ministers, saying they never reacted to the challenges posed by small countries while Prime Minister Modi successfully managed the neighbors.
“Before, small nations challenged us and former prime ministers never reacted. But today, if China dares to look at our borders, our soldiers are breaking the necks of their soldiers and rejecting them. Now China does not have the courage to show us its eyes, ”he said.
Anuppur is one of 28 seats in Madhya Pradesh where by-elections will be held on November 3 and the results will be announced on November 10.
