New Delhi:
On Wednesday, Congresswoman Priyanka Gandhi Vadra attacked the BJP government in Uttar Pradesh for its management of the coronavirus pandemic, saying that out of 15 districts in the country with the highest mortality rate, four are from State.
Congress leader accused the government Yogi Adityanath of engaging in propaganda instead of facing the pandemic.
“Jhansi: one in 10 coronavirus patients, Meerut: one in 11 coronavirus patients, and one in 14 coronavirus patients in Etah and Agra,” Priyanka Gandhi Vadra tweeted with graphics, showing 15 districts in the country with the highest COVID-19 mortality rates.
“This is a question to think about – if the cases are not increasing, then why is the death rate so high?” she posed.
Priyanka Gandhi attacked the government of Uttar Pradesh on Tuesday regarding the “high” COVID-19 death rate in Agra, saying that Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath should clarify within 48 hours who was responsible for “pushing people in these adverse circumstances. “
