A 45-year-old man, who allegedly beat his wife to death and then dumped the body in farmland two days ago, was arrested here on Wednesday, police said.
The couple, from Purnea district in Bihar, lived here in rented accommodation in the village of Mangrauli, below the boundaries of the highway police station.
They often quarreled and quarreled because of the husband’s alcoholism, police said.
